No one has lived at Gullywith Farm for years, and when Olly's family moves there, he just can't imagine being happy in his new home. It seems to be jinxed - the roof falls in, walls collapse ... but even more strangely, small stones keep appearing in unexpected places. Stones with ancient markings on them. Olly thinks they are angry about something.

He makes a new friend in a local girl, KK, who takes him to see the mysterious Nonny Dreever to ask his advice. As they search for the answer to Gullywiths secret, Olly finds himself entering a magic-filled world deep inside the surrounding hills.

What is the ancient power that controls the stones and can anything be done to end their hold over Gullywith?
